The firm, which was established in 1934, is authorised and regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
In meeting the objectives of our clients, a close and direct personal relationship with the responsible partner is essential. In this the partners are supported by our highly trained and typically long serving members of staff.
Rashpal Parmar
After completing a degree in Accounting Studies, Rashpal trained with a medium sized
firm. He joined Bowker Orford in 1985 and became partner in 1995.
Rashpal deals with a large number of clients involved in the areas of music, entertainment and Internet services. He has advised many start up businesses in the last few years.
Rashpal is married with three children and lives in Barkingside, Essex. He enjoys travel and is currently learning to play golf.
Jeffrey Goh
Jeffrey trained in a small size London based general practice after completing a
diploma in Advanced Accountancy. He joined Leonard Bloch in 1989 where he was the
personal assistant to the Partners until 1990 when Leonard Bloch merged with Bowker
Orford. Jeffrey was appointed a manager in 1993 and became a partner in 2002. He
is the firm's Audit Compliance partner.
During his career in general practice, Jeffrey has dealt with clients in the advertising and media industry, hotel and catering industry, entertainment industry, printing industry and management consultancy services. He also has experience in acquisitions and disposals, advises owner-managed clients on various aspects of business management.
Jeffrey lives in the Docklands, East London. He has many interests outside the practice including travelling, walking, jogging and reading novels.
Michael Orford
Michael trained as an accountant with a medium sized international firm and joined
his father's firm, Bowker Orford in 1969 to set up and run their new computer bureau.
He became a Partner in 1971 and, whilst servicing a wide range of clients, was responsible
for overseeing many of the administrative functions of the firm and managed the
firm's information technology systems. He has now retired as a Partner, but continues
to act for the firm as a Consultant, attending the office some two days a week.
During his time as a Partner Michael gained considerable experience in dealing with clients in the music and entertainment industry, as well as acting for a number of computer and hi-tech clients. He is a founder member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Entertainment and Media Group and serve on their Steering Committee.
Michael is married with four grown-up children, and lives in Haslemere, Surrey. He and his wife maintain a strong interest in the performing arts and are both active members of a local amateur film production group, although Michael ensures he is always behind the camera.
