Bowker Orford is a 3 Partner Firm with some 20 staff and we operate from a single office near Oxford Circus in the West End. We are a long established practice servicing clients ranging from individual self-employed clients through to groups
of companies employing 150 to 200 people. Whilst the majority of our clientele are within the M25, we look after many clients much further afield, including some overseas.
We are basically a general practice although we have some areas of specialisation which include the entertainment business, information technology, printing and the media. We are founder members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Entertainment
and Media Group. We have been acting for clients in the music business for over 30 years and have extensive experience acting on behalf of performers, music publishers and all related areas. As a result
we have a good knowledge of copyright, royalty accounting and tax issues. We have in excess of 500 actors as clients, including many household
names, and we act for a number of theatrical production companies and theatrical agents.
While we act primarily as accountants, we view any appointment as a responsibility to provide a total service to our clients. Following this philosophy, we would endeavour to keep our clients abreast of any relevant statutory, accounting,taxation, financial or other requirements and
circumstances which we believe should be brought to their attention.
Bowker Orford has regular international connections with other firms of accountants in the USA, in particular Hollywood, Australia and across most European countries. It is an active member of EURODEFI, a Europe wide network of leading smaller accountancy and legal firms.
